"Holistic Assessment for Students at Primary Level during Home-Based Learning"

Home-based learning during the pandemic has forcefully shifted the way teachers facilitate learning for their students. Consequently, this unprecedented situation has given the teachers new challenges in assessing students' learning progress. What is the best way to measure the students' progress in an online learning environment? What kind of assessment tasks can teachers use in order to evaluate the achievement of learning objectives? 

Through the My Pals are Here (MPH) Gathering, the trainers will introduce the principles and various modes of formative assessment that teachers can apply for English, Math, and Science subjects at the primary level. The types of assessment tasks will determine how students approach the learning and what behaviors they exhibit. A variety of assessment tasks also enables students to build their portfolios and cultivate 21st-century skills and competencies.
